Who processes your data
The data controller is the owner of Blesno. Contact: office@koreancare.net.
What we collect
- Account: username, password (stored only as a salted hash, never in readable form), an optional mobile phone number used solely to recover access, and your chosen language.
- Catches: species, weight, length, date and time, coordinates, place name, bait, method, notes and photos — whatever you enter yourself.
- Location: your current position is used for the weather forecast, nearby waters, live position sharing inside your group and the emergency signal. It is not tracked in the background outside those cases.
- Group: if you join a group, the catches, position and signals you choose to share are visible to everyone holding that group code.
- Usage: the number of AI requests and when the account was active — for quotas and billing.
Who receives it
- Google (Gemini API): photos and text you submit for recognition, advice or analysis are sent to the Gemini API. Under the paid API terms they are not used to train models.
- Open-Meteo: receives coordinates only, to return a forecast. No name, no account.
- OpenStreetMap, Esri, OpenTopoMap: map tiles. Nominatim: reverse geocoding. OSRM: route calculation.
We do not sell data and we run no advertising networks inside the app.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. When you delete it, everything goes immediately — catches, photos held in the account, published pages and your showcase. System event records are removed after 90 days. Backups rotate for up to 3 months.
Your rights
- Copy of your data: in the app, “More → Backup → download a copy” gives you the whole diary in one file.
- Deletion: in the app, “More → Delete account”. If you have already removed the app — use this page.
- Correction and objection: write to the address above.
Children
Anyone can fish with Blesno and nobody is turned away because of their age. The account, however, is created and managed by an adult: the app uses precise location and sends photos to an external recognition service, and for a child that requires a parent's consent. A child fishing on a parent's phone is exactly the case this is written for. We do not knowingly collect data from children holding their own account.
Security
Traffic is encrypted. Passwords are stored as salted hashes. Only the owner has server access.
